Coronation Street Blog pictures from new Street set reveal

(This post was originally posted by Flaming Nora on the Coronation Street Blog November 2013, reposted to this blog with permission.)

Guess where we've been today?

Yes, to see the new Coronation Street set!  What an amazing day it's been.

We'll be doing a full write up tomorrow for the website but for now, you can see some of our own pictures from the set here.

I feel like the little boy who said "The emperor has no clothes!" Am I the only one who thinks these new cobbles are spaced much further apart than the old ones were. If they had only the old ones from the last set to work with, and the new set is both longer and wider, then that would explain it. What else could they do? But for no one to mention it, seems, well, odd!

Did I somehow miss the crawl on the bottom of yesterday's episode, telling us that today's would be on in the afternoon? *!#%$%?"! CBC!!

I think it's just the angle of the photo. From what I know they didn't remove the cobbles from the old set as it's going to be opened to the public for a few months next year. They would have aquired more cobbles from other old streets.

Corrie was on at the normal time here in Halifax.
