Sunday Canadian Corrie Comments, August 14

David really doesn't remember, I believe him this time. Gail is actually supportive even when he finally admitted what happened with Tina. And, see, David really didn't have a motive for trying to kill Graeme. He felt bad about what he'd done to Tina and probably figured he was due a thump from Graeme. He wouldn't have used that as an excuse to run him over. And I do think Tina did blow it out of proportion. Of course, everyone thinks David did do it, led by Dev, the Blame Shifter. He's got a habit of that too. Now he's nicked and we wait to see what happens. But I think David is telling the truth this time. It's far too obvious for him to be lying and then passing out in the court house, that's pretty obvious something might be wrong.

What is it about everyone that no matter how many times they're proven wrong, they are making leaps to the wrong conclusions and falsely accusing people. Over and over. Dev could win the gold medal in obnoxious. Even Gail, usually the defender of her chicks to the end, had doubts and it really cut David to the quick, especially after he supported her when she was accused of killing Joe. And Tina jumped to the same conclusion but i suppose she's got a bit more reason to assume the worst. Still, she sure did a number on Graeme so that he wouldn't even consider any alternative but he's still having doubts that David really could hurt him like this. And was anyone else's hand itching to b!tchsmack Tina's mouthy gob in the courthouse and hospital?

Will it turn out that David has epilepsy and if he does, how is he going to handle that? It's not a big deal, it's not a mark of shame, weakness or insanity like it was centuries ago. But it is still a condition that you have to live with and it's a shock to be diagnosed and have to make some life adjustments. He might not have it severely but if he isn't medicated, there's no way he'd be allowed to drive.

Claire now has a more formalized plan. Move to France with her mother and help her and her new boyfriend run a deli-bistro. You know, if Ashley had been willing to do it, it would probably be a great idea! But he doesn't want to go out of his comfort zone and his mates are winding him up to dig in his heels.

What on earth was Rosie not-wearing. I wonder what was keeping that top up? And she figured she could use her body to get a good rate on the renovations on the burned kitchen, so she can buy a fancy  handbag with the leftover cash! Ha! Seems to have worked but then, it's Jason. What would you expect.Now that Jason is working for Owen, would he really have the leeway to negotiate a price on a job like he did with Bill? I think not.  I wonder if he can work with an eye full of boob!

They sure didn't have too much trouble checking out each other while he was doing the work, her with her barely there top and him shirtless showing off his shaved chest at home and at the photo shoot that she conned him into going to with her. He was enjoying it, too once he got into it and the heat of it all carried over into a shag on the living room floor! Transparently, she's now wearing full face makeup when Jason arrives in the morning lol And bless him, he bought her a fake designer handbag with some of his modeling money. Rosie? Two words. Thank. You. Well i suppose she thanked him in kind ;) I do wonder how long Sally and Kevin were meant to be away. I thought just a long weekend but it's been ages.

Becky really dotes on Max and Kylie is more than happy to let her take over. Kylie, of course, is skiving off her job and jacked it in after she got caught out. Got it back and then abandoned it again. Now she's running off to Aya Napa with a mate that has tears tattooed on her cheek and 100 quid of Roy's money. Nice. She never planned to take Max in the first place. Becky, of course, still wants to defend Kylie but mainly to keep her hands on Max. She's very quickly bonded with the little fella.

Leanne is really in her element spending all Nick's money to make her dream come true. Nick is putting more pressure on Carla, financially. Shouldn't it be about that two week deadline? Well she got her own back on him, gave him the money but 5 grand short and gave him no choice. Take it or leave it all. Gotta do something to save face.

Ooh DC Redfern is back as the investigating officer. I quite like him and his patchy wannabe beard! Michelle is thinking of working in the Factory? Um, not so sure that's going to work. Oh heck, Maria is making eyes at Chris, Cheryl's violent ex. She sure knows how to pick 'em. Chris looked a bit jealous at Lloyd and Russ's congenial relationship. He's not bad looking and he's pretty well built but he'd be even nicer looking if he shaved. Lloyd spilled the beans and Chris isn't going to like that. (oh, and in real life, both actors split with their spouses and are now an item. Or last I heard)
