Tommy's in the Canary Islands. Tina's still hurling fighting words at Tracy. Tracy is upping the ante by sending her a bill for the window and even more besides but Rob thinks she's a nightmare. He stopped her once from calling the cops but he heard her call again and didn't. He figured if Tracy got a public apology, she'd be mollified. He's only worried about the business but he didn't do bad with a spot of manipulating himself, pressing Tina's Rita guilt button.
Well, Tracy got what she wanted but Tina only "caved" because Rob said he'd give her the money to pay the damages which she didn't get in the end. Watching Tina with the bucket of water and Tracy ragging on him, I was sure Tracy would end up with a bucket of dirty water over her. I was HOPING. But when Tina found out she was used, she was all for starting up again. Rita was right. Grow up! Tracy ferreted out Rob's lies too because Tina was happy to tell her.
Now Tracy is not happy because Rob lied and she thinks she's falling in love with him. Well, Steve will be happy to hear that! Deirdre mentioned her stuffed marrow! Rob brought flowers to apologize. I wonder if he's finding a few feelings for her too or is he more concerned with the business? But really, he's got to make something of himself. You can't live on love.
Tina's still surly about Tracy too and was trying to get out of paying for the damages that she caused. Liz was right. Pay Tracy or give her the satisfaction of seeing you behind bars. It looks like Tracy isn't about to let the feud drop. I hope Rob can rein her in because I'm finding it tedious.
Nick's pushing on with his physio therapy because he doesn't want Leanne to see him still struggling and Gail actually spoke kindly to David when he asked about his family. Nick got himself so wound up over Leanne that he collapsed with a panic attack and a dizzy spell. That has only made him worse, more frustrated and confused. Everyone thinks Leanne isn't coming back but I reckon she will. And Gail is starting to get her Mummy genes back and starting to worry about David who is sure looking comfortable at Tina's, even pitching in with the housework and cooking.
.
Kylie's being very helpful with Nick who's surly and frustrated. Everyone tells him Leanne won't be back but guess what? She's back! Leanne didn't stay away very long. She doesn't have to stay with Stella. She's got the flat all to herself. Gail is determined that Leanne forgive Nick because she'll do anything for her baby. And after all Leanne went through to keep Simon and how she promised Simon she'd always be there for him and she's considering flying the coop without him?
Good confrontation with Leanne and David who was bafflingly drinking on a doorstep instead of in Tina's flat. It seems that Leanne is far more upset that Nick lied all those months, far more than the fling itself. I think she could forgive that on its own. I really loved the scene with David and Rita. Even though David wasn't going to tell Rita his problems, she wanted to help anyway. She might not if she knew everything he'd done and David knows that very well. Fun watching everyone trying to work out all the ins and outs of the real situation because they don't know the half of it do they?
Kylie's right. You can't guilt someone into going back, you have to wait for them to realize they love the person and will work to make it better. But Gail tried anyway and she was very good at it. Heck, I even felt guilty!I can't really blame Nick for hollering at simpering patronizing Gail but he did go a bit far and he just can't help himself.
Kylie wants to go back to work but while Leanne is there, it might not be such a good idea at the moment. Anyway, after Leanne saw Nick's state at the party she thinks she will go back to him. Gloria was the one that had the most insight. She pointed out how much Leanne was to blame for Nick's indiscretion as much as his. Well that didn't take long, did it? Leanne is back with Nick. I thought she'd make him squirm a few more weeks but I guess she's doing it for his sake, not for true forgiveness, not yet anyway. Her face certainly didn't show happy families, she's still kind of scared where it's going to end up.
Yep, Sophie's acting like a child, chucking Jenna's things around the house. I'm surprised she didn't throw it all out the window. But now Tim's been given a key and Anna and Sophie both think she's a mug.And now Jenna seems to be having regrets about getting together with Sophie, I think, after all she gave up for her. Lloyd cheered her up immensely by telling her about all his dating disasters. It was quite funny really, seeing her laughing about Liz in the pub and pretending she was upset over her own breakup!
Grace is very adept at manipulating the adults. She's got a radar for the exact buttons to push. She caused trouble between Anna and Sally very well, in front of Tim. Faye's not really too sure about Grace is she, but she wants to be included and doesn't want to lose her new best friend. She did manage to talk Anna into having a Halloween party even though Owen is already starting to have suspicions about Grace. Grace yanked Faye's chain so the party has to be moved to Friday. She probably had that planned all along. Owen can see that Grace is the wearing the pants in that relationship.
Halloween party... disaster from the get go. Tim making empty promises for a start. Even though it's now after Halloween, I suppose the parties might still be thick on the ground the weekend after but Anna managed to find something for Faye and pretended it was from Tim the waster. Sally makes "cheap" shots. Volatile Nick takes Simon to a loud, noisy party full of sugared up kids. Sally's right. Faye did look a bit like Rosie in her Goth phase.
Grace picked right up on Nick's weakness and was absolutely vile and it went downhill from there. The noise and ruckus was getting to him, you can see it and Grace exasperated it until he blew up. Owen is starting to realize that Grace is a troublemaker and she more than proved it. Sally gave her a good going over, rightly so even if Anna with blinders on defended Grace. And after the party, Grace was so obviously sucking up. Owen mentioned he'd lost his temper plenty of times. Didn't ruin a child's party but he did smack Faye, didn't he? I wonder if Faye is realizing that Grace is not that nice after all but she's not willing to give up her BFF yet.
Peter's trying to shake things up at the factory. Employee of the month competitions, now, with 100 quid bonus that he offered without clearing it with Carla first. Now that we know Sinead can sew, can a job in the factory be far behind? Aww Beth wants to win the Employee of the month so she can get Craig something nice for Christmas. She's going to use Sinead to babysit Craig while she works. Beth is determined to win the hundred quid for the Employee of the Month award and she's persuading Sinead to sew extra for her. Blackmailing with booze, and past blackmail "All I have done for you" type things.
Girls' night out/in with Eileen, Liz and Deirdre was a scream! Even before they arrived, there was some really funny stuff with Sean, Liz and Gail! Other great bits - Deirdre cuddling Sean, explaining that she's funny and is a good cuddler, making jokes at each others' expense, singing at the bar. Love it! That's what women friends are really like out on the tiles! Meanwhile, over at the Bistro, the Price/McIntyre girls' gathering was more depressing. Barely a smile cracked at that table. Chuckled at Sean and Liz's discussion about the old series, Rich Man Poor Man. So typical that Liz would fancy the bad boy, Falconetti while Sean drooled over Nick Nolte.
Hayley's coming home from hospital next week but Roy is scared. Roy has decided to redecorate. He's going to have to get a move on if she's coming home in a few days.

LOVED the girl's night out at the pub! This is the kind of stuff I adore Corrie for -- laughter, digs, human condition stuff. Deirdre was too funny talking about what she missed about Ken -- not Ken so much, but him doing the mundane jobs of taking out the garbage and drawing her a bath!
I alternated between hating Sally and loving her at the party. The 'cheap' shots at Anna were nasty and mean, but she had Grace's number and said so. Funny how she and Owen, and not Anna and Tim, had that one figured out.
The girls' night out was wonderful, I agree! Loved that Sally got Grace's measure straight away.
