Bluenose Corrieblog edited to add: Peter and Carla are still together a year later. There's always the possibility that they will get married.
We know that Carla's been wed tice before, to Paul Connor - who died in a car crash and to Tony Gordon - who died in a factory fire.
But what about Peter's four previous wives? Yes, four. Let's take a look.
Wife number 1: Peter married Jessica in 1990. It was a marriage we didn't see on screen. When Peter returned to Weatherfield in 2000 he divorced Jessica due to her being unfaithful.
Wives number 2 and 3: Peter comitted bigamy in 2003 when he maried both florist Lucy Richards and barmaid Shelley Unwin at almost the same time. Lucy is the mother of little Simon Barlow and she died.
