Coronation Street aired a live episode a few weeks ago. We're getting it this week in Canada. They issued a "trailer" that was more of a promo than anything to do with storyline spoilers. As always, non-UK viewers couldn't see the trailer but a fan has reworked the audio of the trailer and this is what he came up with. You get to see the trailer plus the new soundtrack which is quite good. The live episode will bring the Platt/Callum story to a head.

Would I be correct in thinking that with all those extra Thursday programs in the U.K. lately we've slipped to about 3 weeks behind? Hopefully, with the upcoming football (soccer) broadcasts causing cancellations there, we may regain some of that lost ground. Is that just wishful thinking?
Yes we will gain a bit of ground back. We will likely be just slightly under two weeks behind.
