There's a really nice video clip of Helen Worth (Gail Platt) talking about
Betty Driver over on the BBC website. She recalls how Betty was always interested in every one and all the cast from young to old loved her. She said "The Street was her family and she didn't want to leave it". Lovely! We'll miss Betty very much. There aren't too many legends left and she was most definitely one of them.
