Pictures: Corrie cast at post-live party and Gala dinner

After the gruelling one hour long live Coronation Street episode, members of the Corrie cast let their hair down at a party and celebrated in style.

On Friday 10 December, there was a Coronation Street 50th dinner for cast and crew and various others.

There's a gorgeous gallery on the Manchester Evening News website of Coronation Street stars past and present.  They came together at Manchester’s Hilton Hotel for that gala dinner to celebrate the success of a 50th anniversary week to remember.

Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, said: "I'd like to say thanks to people for watching, and I hope they’ve enjoyed it over the years."

Producer Phil Collinson said: "We just hope the fans have enjoyed this week. The response has been amazing."
