There's a great little interview in this week's Inside Soap magazine with Ellie Leach, who plays Faye Windass in Coronation Street.
Ellie answers questions sent in by fans and she comes across as really intelligent young woman. She says she's nothing like Faye in real life as she doesn't do anything to get into trouble. She was inspired to get into acting by her mum as she wasn't very confident at school and the drama classes built up her confidence. She says "I really enjoyed doing it and carried on doing it until I realised 'This is something I want to do with my life'.
She also reveals that the naughtiest people on the set are Mikey North (Gary Windass) and Joe Duttine (Tim Metcalfe). "The two of them are a hilarious double act," says Ellie. "It's very hard to get scenes done when they're around."
