We're a bit late to the party in reporting this one, due to me being tipsy in charge of a Christmas tree for the last fortnight. But we get there in the end, as always, with these stories!
Coronation Street's Shayne Ward, who plays Aidan Connor, got himself engaged over the festive period. Our congratulations go to Shayne and his fiancee Sophie Ward.
Shayne posted a picture of the engagement ring, a right bobby dazzler, to social media.
