Julie Hesmondhalgh - who played the much-missed Hayley Cropper - will give the Holyoake lecture in October in Manchester. The Holyoake Lecture is organised by the British Humanist Association (BHA) in partnership with Greater Manchester Humanists, and is part of the BHA’s annual series of events designed to inform the public about aspects of Humanism.
