Could Sally's old flame Chris return to Coronation Street?

Anyone remember Chris Collins? Anyone?  He had a fling with married Sally Webster way back in 1997/8 when he worked as a mechanic for Kev Webster.  He was one of a handful of mechanics not afraid to get his kit off while fixing up cars. Ahem.

Actor Matthew Marsden, who played Chris, has been writing some fun tweets in response to the tabloid rumours that old characters might be returning to the show.  They're tweets which Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe (nee Webster) has been retweeting.  Fun stuff, nothing in it.

But could there be? I wonder!  Perhaps we could see the return of an old flame of Sally's to upset the apple cart. What do you reckon?
