It's been a busy month on Coronation Street. Pat Phelan has insidiously been creeping into Eileen and Jason's life, business and home though he now has two adversaries, Todd and Johnny. Jason is grieving for his father and Phelan is bound to take full advantage of that. I'll be interested to see how this all comes out.
Hot on the heels of the slavery storyline, Billy is slip-sliding into another storyline all of his own. Carla and Tracy seem to be taking a bit of a break from the vendetta, likely due to Robert putting his foot down with Tracy once he found out all the gory details of her blackmail and scheming. Anna wore her judgemental pants, condemning Izzy to a life of addiction when all Izzy wanted was to make the pain go away for a little while. Instead, Sharif got Gary arrested and Izzy got him in even deeper trouble.
Kate, Caz and Sophie are the newest love triangle angles and it's all a bit predictable and dull at the moment. Rana and Zeedan are also dull, dull, dull. I don't like her one bit. Brother and sister, Nick and Sarah, are both having wobblers. Sarah is battling ghosts and Nick is experiencing a resurgence of his old brain injury. I didn't know that sort of thing could happen but what do I know? The most surprising thing about that storyline is how supportive and brotherly David is. Ah, we knew him when!
