This is the start of the tour around Canada of four former cast members of Coronation Street. Steven Arnold (Ashley Peacock), Julia Haworth (Claire Peacock), Nick Cochrane (Andy McDonald) and Charles Lawson (Jim McDonald) are appearing in various venues around Canada (check your local newspapers).
This week they were featured on Canada AM, talking about the show and their characters. You can see the video streamed online here. There's about 10 or 12 minutes, it's not the full segment but you get a chance to hear each of the actors talk and take some questions from the audience.
Charles Lawson gets a lot of the chat time and he talks about his character, Jim and also how he came to own the famed Toronto Blue Jays sweatshirt. Steve talks about how pleased he was to be included in the 50th anniversary storyline where Ashley died a hero. Julie talked a bit about her character's storyline dealing with Post Natal depression. Nick didn't get quite as much input but he did talk about what it's like to leave the show.
