What is ALS?  It is Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. And this excerpt from the ALS Canada website pretty much sums it up: "For some, the legs are the first to go. For many, it’s their hands. For others, it’s their voice. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis can begin any number of ways, but it always ends the same: with death. That’s because ALS destroys your motor neurons, making it impossible for your brain to send messages to your body parts. One by one, your muscles become paralyzed, making it impossible to walk, talk, eat, and eventually, breathe. Please, help us find a cure.   https://www.als.ca/

Come and join other Coronation Street fans for a fun afternoon for a worthy cause.
